A space for healing and reflection, this exhibition honors the acts of love and compassion that emerged in Isla Vista and on campus after the tragedy on May 23, 2014.
This student-led exhibit has re-opened and will extend until August 13.
Through photographs of planned and unplanned memorials, artifacts and messages left at spontaneous memorial sites, and documentation of support from around the globe, the exhibition remembers those who died and were injured, and tells the story of a community empowered by its own humanity in reacting to a collective loss.
Exhibit located in UCSB Red Barn (Bldg. 479 - next to the bus loop by South Hall).
Monday-Thursday, 11 am - 4 pm, extended to August 13, 2015.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
